POAL Planned Outage for Upgrading Friday 1st December 2023 
6:00am – 7:00pm(60mins)

The following will be impacted:
  • - POAL Internal systems
    - PortConnect Integration service
    - Container Chain Integration service

Messages received during the outage period will be queued up and processed once the system is back online. 

TSW Issue 01.12.23

There is an issue being experienced by POAL with recieving TSW clearance messages. 

POAL are currently investigating.

This message will be removed once the issue has been resolved.

Developer API


The PortConnect API (Application programming interface) is a new, modern way of sending and retrieving data from PortConnect.  PortConnect receives container event information 24 hours a day from our partner ports Ports of Auckland, Port of Tauranga, Timaru Container Terminal and Lyttelton Port Company.

Despatch and planning staff complete less data entry and their system displays the latest information.

Scheduled vessels: Returns scheduled vessel information, including expected time of arrival and departure.

Vessel Schedule Event Subscriptions: Receive real-time alerts for key vessel information, including vessels omitting.

Container Visits: Returns the latest detailed information for specified containers.  Up to 10 containers can be searched at any one time.

Container Event Subscriptions: This is a suite of operations which allows container events to be sent to any end point you specify. Events are received at least every ten minutes.

Export Pre-Advice: Submit export container details to Port of Auckland and Port of Tauranga to gate-in.

Booking API: Allows Shipping Lines to send Full and Empty bookings.

Storage Pre-Advice API: Submit Pre-Advice for Empty containers entering the Port of Auckland LINK facility at the Fergusson Container Terminal.
