POAL Planned Outage for Upgrading Friday 1st December 2023 
6:00am – 7:00pm(60mins)

The following will be impacted:
  • - POAL Internal systems
    - PortConnect Integration service
    - Container Chain Integration service

Messages received during the outage period will be queued up and processed once the system is back online. 

TSW Issue 01.12.23

There is an issue being experienced by POAL with recieving TSW clearance messages. 

POAL are currently investigating.

This message will be removed once the issue has been resolved.

Outward Cargo Report


Outward Cargo Report (OCR) is a report in accordance with section 45 of the Customs & Excise Act 1996, which is used for reporting cargo loaded on crafts, which include ships, that:

  • is to depart, or has departed, for a point outside New Zealand from a place inside New Zealand; and
  • the cargo is for discharge outside of New Zealand. 
For vessel operators, we provide the report to Customs on their behalf including all export container data for each vessel once it departs New Zealand.

The service is available for both containerised and bulk/breakbulk cargo.

We provide either manual or automated submission dependent on EDI capability and cargo type.
