POAL Planned Outage for Upgrading Friday 1st December 2023 
6:00am – 7:00pm(60mins)

The following will be impacted:
  • - POAL Internal systems
    - PortConnect Integration service
    - Container Chain Integration service

Messages received during the outage period will be queued up and processed once the system is back online. 

TSW Issue 01.12.23

There is an issue being experienced by POAL with recieving TSW clearance messages. 

POAL are currently investigating.

This message will be removed once the issue has been resolved.

Express Pin


Trucking firms use the Express PIN function in order to obtain a PIN number that allows them to uplift a container from the Port of Auckland (POAL). A container number and delivery check number is entered, and if the container is available then an Express PIN number is assigned.
If the container has not yet been discharged from the ship or is otherwise unavailable, then the container remains on "Auto Request".  PortConnect will advise once the container becomes Available and a PIN is assigned.

The truck operator can then use this PIN at the gate kiosk at POAL.  This service is only provided for POAL.
