POAL Planned Outage for Upgrading Friday 1st December 2023 
6:00am – 7:00pm(60mins)

The following will be impacted:
  • - POAL Internal systems
    - PortConnect Integration service
    - Container Chain Integration service

Messages received during the outage period will be queued up and processed once the system is back online. 

TSW Issue 01.12.23

There is an issue being experienced by POAL with recieving TSW clearance messages. 

POAL are currently investigating.

This message will be removed once the issue has been resolved.

EDI Integration


EDI stands for Electronic Data Interchange. There are many types of EDI message, but in shipping and logistics, these are typically in the EDIFACT file format. EDIFACT stands for Electronic Data Interchange For Administration, Commerce and Transport. EDIFACT is accepted as the international EDI standard.

PortConnect both receives and sends the following EDI messages:

COARRI - Load/Discharge message.
CODECO - Gate In/Out message.
COPARN - Booking message. Receive/Deliver instruction message.
COPRAR - Load/Discharge instruction message.
COREOR - Line Clearance message.
VERMAS - VGM confirmation message.

PortConnect ensure these messages are standardised to reduce manual data entry for the partner ports.
